While working as an assistant designer for a clothing manufacturer in Manhattan, I began getting requests from friends and co-workers for custom made clothes. In one case, a friend of mine was above average height and found it difficult to find a woman's suit that would fit her properly. I always wanted to do something more personal in the fashion industry, so I started making custom clothes upon request. I have been working at home for the past ten years and now I am able to be a work-at-home mom so I can be with my daughter.

I love clothes. Designing is my passion. I believe fashion shouldn't be taken too seriously but that it should be fun. My latest clothing line is all about fun, easy-to-wear clothing. There is nothing too tailored or restricted. Many of the items in this line can be worn with formal wear or transitioned to spice up a pare of jeans! The look is modern meets vintage.

I also enjoy making clothing for little girls. After I had my daughter, the opportunity for this sky rocketed! She has about a dozen little girlfriends for whom I have custom made clothing. I definitely have the most fun with this!

The best part of what I do is being able to help someone make their vision come to life. When I have achieved this and my client is pleased, it makes all of my time and effort worth it.
