Student Research

Michael Pelosi - Mike is working as my lab technician on the ecology of American Beachgrass. He is also pursuing an independent study project to examine wetland species diversity and productivity in urban and rural environments.

Onolee Jansen - Onolee started with me in the fall of 2005. She is working as a laboratory technician on the ecology of American Beachgrass and on the effects of CO2, temperature and precipitation in climate change studies.

Ross Manning - Ross started in my lab in the fall of 2005 and worked exclusivly on processing samples from the coastal dune work on American Beachgrass.

Olga Chromachova - Olga worked in our lab during the spring of 2005. She compiled a database of over 200 journal articles dealing with climate change experiments. Those articles will be used to extract data on the the relative importance of carbon dioxide, temperature or precipitation in ecological studies. Olga will be studying abroad in the fall of 2005 in Australia. We look forward to her return.
