Publisher sponsored by a William Paterson College incentive Grant
This is a part of Student Success/ Academic Excellence Grant to enhance the Math 110 -
Contemporary Mathematics course. The main purpose is to find the connection of mathematics
with the disciplines other than science and nursing and to create mathematics awareness in
the students.
The first part of the book will be ready in June 1997 and the regional custom editor Mr.
Christopher E. Shenk of Simon & Schuster Publishers has made an offer to publish this
book.
Upgrading the Mathematical and Pedagogical Knowledge of Upper-Elementary Certified Teachers to Meet the Challenge of a New Curriculum
I received (jointly with Dr. R. Kaplan) DHE Grants for four years,
1991-1995, which produced Workshop Manuals for Teachers. These manuals contain the selected material from the
eighteen successful workshops we offered to the Teachers of the Paterson School District
and the Summer Teacher-Leader Seminars offered to the teacher-leaders.
