Each participant received a mold and deckle, felts, and pulp bath. I constructed low cost mold and deckles that allowed students to continue making paper at home after the workshop was completed.
The first two days concentrated on basic sheet forming using abaca and cotton linters. Students practiced forming consistent, even sheets of paper producing approximately sixty sheets of each variety per day.
