Gases

Brown, LeMay, and Bursten is an excellent textbook! At the
end of each Chapter you will find many, many problems. For example, there are
77 problems at the end of Chapter 1. In addition each Chapter contains many example problems and practice problems. Consequently one has a plethora of problems to consider. I suggest that you work out as many problems as necessary so that you feel comfortable with the concept that each problem illustrates. Perhaps you might "look at" the following problems that I suggest. There is nothing magical about these problems. There are several other problems of each type in the text. Do as many as you like. Please note that the problems listed below are mostly of a quantitative nature. You are
certainly responsible for qualitative problems as well!

  Gas Characteristics; Pressure 10.5, 10.7, 10.13
  The Gas Laws; The Ideal-Gas Equation 10.17, 10.20, 10.23, 10.27, 10.31
  Further Applications of the Ideal-Gas Equation 10.35, 10.38, 10.40
  Partial Pressures 10.45, 10.47, 10.51, 10.55, 10.56
  Kinetic-Molecular Theory; Graham's Law 10.66
