Determination of Grade

1.
There will be FOUR Exams will be given on the following dates. The lowest grade will be dropped.

EXAM   1
February 12, 2008

EXAM   2
March 6, 2008

EXAM   3
April 10, 2008

EXAM   4
May 1, 2008

A Cumulative Multiple Choice Final Exam, valued at 25% OF THE COURSE, will be given on THURSDAY 15MAY2008 @ 8:00 - 10:45 am

A student's Final course average is calculated as follows:

% Average = [Average of 3 Exams ] 0.75 + [Final Exam] 0.25

On the basis of the resulting calculation a course grade is assigned as follows ....

A 100-90 ; B 89-80 ; C 79-70 ; D 69-60 ; F <59

example of +/- grades :

B+ . . . 89, 88, 87

B . . . 86, 85, 84, 83

B- . . . 82, 81, 80

There will be NO MAKE- UPS on any examination without a written note from a physician. In the event of illness ( etc.) call me, on the day of the exam, and leave a message. No message, no makeup!
