Determination of Grade

  1.

There will be FOUR Exams will be given on the following dates. The lowest grade will be dropped and each of the three remaining Exams will be valued at 25% , i.e. 3 x 25 = 75%

A Cumulative Multiple Choice Final Exam, valued at 25% OF THE COURSE, will be given on   Monday   12MAY2008   @ 11:00 - 1:45 pm.

A student's Final course average is calculated as follows:

% Average = [Average of 3 Exams ] 0.75 +  [Final Exam] 0.25

On the basis of the resulting calculation a course grade is assigned as follows ....

A   100-90 ; B   89-80 ; C   79-70 ; D   69-60 ; F   <59

example of +/- grades :

B+ . . . 89, 88, 87

  B . . . 86, 85, 84, 83

B- . . . 82, 81, 80

 

  4.

There will be NO MAKE- UPS on any examination without a written note from a physician. In the event of illness ( etc.) call me, on the day of the exam, and leave a message. No message, no makeup!
