Rollover and Flash Butons and Sound

Flash Button Setup. In Flash, you can add all kinds of effects and control.
BUT....
the prgram in pretty complex and you need to learn alot before you can use it effectively. all of the navigation must be done in Flash as well. so modification, and mainatinance become an issue as well. if you need to alter a link to point to another location, you have go into falsk and alter the link there. then re-export. once this is done, the link to import the button.swf into the .HTML in DW. fortunately, it will not to be re-imported. since .HTML calls the file - is is not embedded into the .HTML. but as you can imagine the maintainance of you website becomes much morre cumbersome!

Playing sound is tough! or impossible! you can have the page paly a sound as is the case here. the "play button" is given to allow the user to turnthe music off if they do not wish to listen. an in the caseof this piece from the wondows system i am sure you will NOT want to listen.

this flash button is created in DW. but these is no way to add a sound to the button. the "button insert command" is found in the insert media tab and look for the insert media buttons. see the image in the cell below!	this flash button is created in flash. when yo9u create flash button in it will make a .SWF file and saved into you folder. i imported the .SWF that i created in DW and converted to symbol and then separated into layers. then i exported fromflash to make another .SWF button. this is then re-imported into the .HTML via DW.	this flash button is is the same as the one to the left. i added a sound to the downstate of the button. see the image below to see how a button setup is done in flash.
