Fight the Budget Cuts a HUGE success!

From SGA's Trenton Rally to the letter campaigns via NJ College Promise Action Network, the students of New Jersey have made a loud and proud voice within the walls of the Budget Committee meetings in Trenton! The state's budget committee members have reimbursed higher education funds with $14 million from the federal stimulus package! The nine state college presidents have all recommended only a 3% increase in tuition to their Board of Trustees, as a result of the extra funds to their operating budgets. This is a HUGE win for the college students of New Jersey, and a 3% increase will be the lowest tuition increase in the last 20 years!

This fall, the SGA will be introducing a new online system, in which all fund request forms, including quote forms, requisition forms, and other paperwork will be filled out, signed, and submitted online! Up ‘til Dawn Program

This coming fall semester, William Paterson University of New Jersey, will be hosting its very own Up ‘til Dawn program. In order to make this a success, we need dedicated students like you to form teams and start fundraising. The SGA supports Up 'til Dawn, a year round fundraiser for the St. Jude Children Research Hospital for Catastrophic Diseases.
