Welcome to the Official William Paterson Rugby Football Club Website
The William Paterson University RFC was recognized as a club team in the spring semester of 2007. Currently, we are looking for sponsers and a home pitch. Thanks goes out to the North Jersey RFC for letting us play as their B-side team. Any interested players should send us an email, no experience required.
Fall semester 2007 championship team:
In their first semester as an approved club team, the WPU Rugby club managed to
go undefeated and capture the MET title.
Fall semester 2008 championship team:
In their second season the Rugby club managed to come away with the MET title
for the second time in its two years of existence.
Spring semester 2009 Princeton Tournament B side champions:
In the spring of 2009 the Rugby club went to Princeton and dominated the opposition
in order to captured its first tournament victory ever.
Fall semester 2009 championship team:
In the fall of 2009 the Rugby club came away with their third MET title,
while at the same time scoring a WPU record 403 points and only allowing 39
points in the regular season.
